Cooking with Titanium
Titanium cookware rewards the right technique. Here are three of our favorite recipes, perfected in COOKVIVO pans.
1. French Omelette
The ultimate test of a non-stick pan.
Heat your pan over medium-low for 2 minutes. Add a knob of butter — it should foam, not brown. Pour in 3 beaten eggs, then gently stir with a silicone spatula while shaking the pan. When the eggs are just set, fold and slide onto the plate. No sticking, no oil needed beyond the butter.
2. Salmon with Crispy Skin
Pan-searing at its finest.
Pat the salmon fillet dry, season with salt. Heat the pan over medium-high until a drop of water dances. Place the salmon skin-side down and don't touch it for 4 minutes — the skin will release naturally when crisp. Flip for 1-2 minutes, rest, and serve.
3. Garlic Butter Pasta
One-pan dinner in 15 minutes.
Boil your pasta in a stockpot, reserving a cup of pasta water. In your titanium frying pan, melt 3 tbsp butter with 4 sliced garlic cloves over low heat until fragrant. Toss in the drained pasta with a splash of pasta water, stir until glossy, finish with parmesan and black pepper.
